The central figure of the investigation was O.B., who worked as a data analyst.

Allegedly, O.B. delayed the transmission of live data from tennis and volleyball matches to the system by 7 seconds. Thus, he created an opportunity to learn developments in the matches before the betting system did.

It was determined that the suspect, who allegedly used this advantage for his own benefit, had his partners place bets through accounts opened in the names of different individuals.

According to examinations, it was claimed that the data provider company and legal betting platforms suffered a loss of approximately 12 million liras through this method. O.B. was arrested by the court he was brought before.

Another striking detail in the investigation was the money movements. A total of 192 million liras in inflows and outflows were detected in the suspect's bank accounts.

Continuing their examinations on financial movements and connections, the teams detained 8 more people evaluated to have acted together with O.B. The investigation is ongoing in a multifaceted manner.
