CHP Deputy İnan Akgün Alp brought the corruption investigation at Yahşihan Municipality to the parliamentary agenda. Drawing attention to former Zoning Manager Ulaş Biçer's luxury assets, Alp became a talking point with his jab directed at the AK Party.

Yachts, cars, floors… what is happening at the municipality?

CHP Kars Deputy İnan Akgün Alp's remarks in Parliament were both thought-provoking and brought a smile to people's faces. In recent weeks, an operation had been carried out against Kırıkkale's Yahşihan Municipality. Among the detained figures was Yahşihan Municipality's former Zoning Manager Ulaş Biçer, whose luxury home, yachts, and cars had drawn attention.
Biçer was among the individuals arrested on September 23, 2025, as part of the extortion investigation conducted against Yahşihan Municipality.
In Kırıkkale, following the arrest and suspension of Yahşihan Deputy Mayor Aydın Demirdirek as part of a corruption investigation, AK Party Municipal Council Member Hamdi Açıkgöz was elected deputy mayor in the vote held in the municipal council.
Bringing the issue back to the parliamentary agenda, Alp made a jab at the AK Party. Here are Alp's words...
