Competition Board Takes Action! Investigation Launched Against 10 Companies
The Competition Board has launched an investigation against 10 catering companies alleged to have acted in collusion in public tenders.

The Competition Board has completed its preliminary research targeting certain companies in the catering services sector. Following the evaluation of the information and documents obtained, it was decided to launch an investigation against 10 companies.
Public Tenders Will Be Examined
The investigation focuses on the allegation that companies may have restricted competition by acting in collusion during public institutions' procurements of catering services.
The legal basis for the review is Article 4 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition, which regulates agreements that restrict competition.
Investigation Decision Does Not Mean Violation Has Been Established
The Competition Authority stated that the initiation of an investigation does not mean that the companies in question have definitively violated the law.
At the end of the process, it will be evaluated whether the allegations against the companies are proven or not.
