Apple introduced its new AI-powered device HomeView

Apple has announced the HomeView device, aiming to initiate a new era in smart home technologies. The product, which stands out with its facial recognition system, advanced Siri artificial intelligence, and smart home control features, has a starting price of $299.

With the announcement made on October 13, Apple introduced the HomeView device, expanding its smart home ecosystem. The company's new product allows users to manage their smart devices at home from a single center while also integrating AI-powered personal assistant features.

Can recognize everyone at home

The HomeView, equipped with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, can recognize up to six different users thanks to its facial recognition technology. The device can automatically change the screen layout and personal information based on the person in front of it.

Video FaceTime calls can be made through HomeView, music can be played, and smart home devices can be controlled.

Powered by Siri AI

The device, equipped with Apple's new Siri AI system, allows users to perform various tasks through natural speech.

When paired with compatible Apple devices, it can generate more personalized responses by utilizing calendar events, messages, and other personal information.

Viewing security cameras, turning lights on and off, adjusting the thermostat, and managing smart door locks are among the features offered.

Price and release date announced

The starting price of Apple HomeView in the U.S. has been announced as $299. The device, which has two different models that can be used as a desktop or wall-mounted, is planned to be available for sale in selected initial markets on November 13, 2026.

As for Turkey, no official sales date or price information has been shared yet.

Apple's new move indicates that competition among AI-powered home assistants will intensify in the upcoming period.
